Judith Meister

works at the interface of film, video installations and theatre.

In her installation works and films, she experiments with digital image processing techniques and the points at which documentary and fiction meet. Collective processes and the reflection on and realisation of non-hierarchical structures and methods are an important part of her work. She is passionate about detecting ruptures and gaps in socio-political issues in which a certain degree of unrest and chaos provides the space for a reorganisation of the neoliberal system.

So far, she has worked with the following formats: Fiction, documentary, stop-motion animation, experimental film, multi-channel installations and video projection mapping. She has a degree in film studies.
